Specialized Yoga Classes

Led by Kelli Bethel, PT, RYT and her team of Yoga Therapists, these affordable specialized yoga classes will be held at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Yoga has been shown to provide a range of health benefits from increasing strength and flexibility to improving balance, coordination and bone strength, among other positive impacts. These specialized sessions are created for stroke survivors of all abilities who have completed rehabilitation.

Physician consent is required and participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat. The cost is $48 per eight week session.

Tuesdays, January 15 to March 5

This class is appropriate for anyone with conditions such as fibromyalgia, back and other joint pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and headaches.

Therapeutic Yoga has been shown to reduce pain, calm the nervous system, improve body image and mood, and increase muscle strength, stability and flexibility.

Two workshops are available from 11 am – 12:30 pm.
Mondays: January 14 – March 4
Fridays: January 18 – March 8

Cost: $120 per 8-week session
