Clinic: 410-448-6361

BS in Special Ed, Masters of Applied Anthropology, Licensed Massage Therapist, National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Vicki is an educator, social scientist, author, activist, and health care professional with international and domestic experiences spanning more than 3 decades. She is a nationally certified, licensed massage therapist who has practiced massage therapy full-time since 2003, and is licensed in MD, DC and DE. Vicki is committed to providing culturally sensitive and individualized therapeutic massage, bodywork, and energy work services in support of each client’s personal health goals. Her ongoing pursuit of advanced training and integrative approaches to wellness, combined with her dedication to client education and empowerment strategies for self-care, support each client’s efforts toward improved health. Since the beginning of her practice, Vicki has been devoted to goals of reducing pain and suffering, improving healthy functioning, and enhancing general well-being through her private practice and within a wide variety of clinical settings—inpatient and outpatient; serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations; and providing safe and supportive care from birth through the end of life.

In addition to client care, Vicki has provided program design, coordination, education, and evaluation services for grant-funded complementary therapy programs for underserved communities addressing the care of people with HIV/AIDS, cancer, chronic pain, and stress management. Her training and experience build on traditional Swedish and deep-tissue massage, as well as myofascial release and orthopedic and rehabilitative techniques to address specific musculoskeletal and joint mobility, post-surgical recovery concerns, and general stress reduction. Vicki also offers lymph drainage therapy and craniosacral therapy as supportive strategies for clients with systemic disorders involving immune, inflammatory, peripheral neuropathy, and other neurological concerns. Reflexology and Reiki -energy work- provide her clients with additional options for gently managing symptoms and side effects, and for enhancing and integrating mind, body, and spirit in support of the clients’ healing efforts.  In addition to adults, Vicki also treats pediatric patients.
