Erin Peisach, RDN, CLT
Erin received her B.S. in dietetics from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009. She completed her clinically based dietetic internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 2011. Erin attained a personal trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2009 and has an extensive fitness background.
Erin has experience working with individuals in an outpatient setting, providing not only disease-oriented nutrition counseling, but also hands-on grocery shopping tours and cooking classes to enhance the client’s educational experience. Erin is passionate about improving the health of our local community by providing nutrition seminars to schools, youth organizations, senior centers, and other community groups. She has appeared on local television including WBAL, WJZ, and ABC2 explaining a variety of nutrition-related topics.
Erin’s primary focus is helping individuals and groups achieve weight loss success. She has developed and implemented numerous “Biggest Loser” style competitions and had the opportunity to work at Wellspring Camp, America’s most prestigious weight loss and fitness summer camp. Erin is a trained coach in numerous weight management programs.
Erin’s nutrition philosophy values nutrient-dense, minimally processed foods that nourish and heal the body from the inside out. Her practice combines the science and art of nutrition to obtain the diet that is right for each patient. During your visit, she will develop a nutrition and lifestyle program that suits your individualized goals and needs and supports optimal health.
