Brenda Doetzer has been practicing traditional Usui Reiki since 1995, and teaching since 1998. She received her Usui Master training 1998, Karuna Reiki ® Master Teacher training in 1999, Lightarian™ Reiki training in 2002, Reconnective Healing® in 2005, and Integrated Energy Therapy® Master-Instructor training in 2010. Brenda has been a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals™ since 2002.

In her healing practice, Brenda works as a partner with each patient. Through kindness, support and empowerment, they work together toward healing. She works with a variety of chronic illnesses, such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, migraines and arthritis. She also has had experience helping people with ALS, cancer, various injuries, depression, survivors of abuse, and PTSD. Many people come for the simple aches and pains of everyday life, to relieve stress and sometimes just to find a little serenity in a safe haven.

In the past, Brenda has been contracted with the Social Security Administration and Good Samaritan Hospital to provide Reiki. At Good Samaritan, Brenda also led a weekly “Reiki Clinic,” offering free Reiki to anyone who attended. She has also held Reiki Clinics at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church, St. Benedict Catholic Church, and currently at Charlestown Retirement Community.

Brenda is the founder and creator of the Eden Life Journeys Healing retreat weekends, which take place annually. She graduated from UMBC with a BA in Psychology and is currently the Director of Music at Our Lady of the Angels Church at Charlestown Retirement Community.
